Round 7
23 June 2002
Rockingham
Rockingham is a great circuit that I hadn't ridden before that really suits my riding style. I really wanted to win at this track and prove that I was capable of winning. In qualifying I was on pole position by two seconds when I crashed at a high speed. There was a cone in the track that shouldn't have been there, which caused me a broken left wrist. I broke my Radius and chipped a part of my Ulner. This forced me out of this particular round. As you can image I was not please. My team mate Tom Sykes went on to take his second victory of the season. |
