Brands Hatch-GP
Brands Hatch is one of my favourite circuits so I really wanted do well there or at least finish after the disappointment of the last two meetings.
It was very close between Kieran and I in qualifying for pole position but I was very glad to take it in the last few minutes. Starting on pole meant that I had to move across the track quickly going into the first corner. I was happy to be in third position as it was a very chaotic first few laps.
I dropped back to fourth just as the pace car came out. From then on I was battling with Tommy Hill to win third place back. The race was so close with five riders right behind me. Going into the last lap I knew I had to defend my position so that I finished the race. I came across the line in a well-earned fourth place.
I was happy with how the weekend went and very happy to get some valuable points.
